1. Korea-China Relations

During the Cold War era, which began with the close of World War II, the Korean peninsula found itself suspended at the polar ends of the world order, caught up in the center of the turmoil. The official ties between Korea and China, which followed this chaotic period, and the tremendous expansion in the relationship between the two countries have emerged as significant new research topics. For Korea, China has not only been an important partner in our history but will also play the role of a crucial partner in the future. It is therefore unnecessary to stress the importance and the necessity of further studies in this area.
